Autonomys x NeuroMesh: Democratizing AI Development

Share to Socials

Autonomys is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with NeuroMesh. We share the aim of creating an ecosystem for secure, advanced AI agents — trained, hosted and deployed on distributed consumer hardware — to coordinate using decentralized infrastructure; where anyone can contribute their computing resources to train AI models collaboratively. It’s AI by everyone, for everyone.

Key Aspects of the Partnership

  • deAI Model Hosting: NeuroMesh could host users’ AI models on Autonomys’ distributed storage network (DSN). By deploying on the Autonomys Network, NeuroMesh could also benefit from our secure, scalable blockchain and configurable execution environments (domains), augmented with cross-domain communication, ensuring data integrity, privacy and efficient resource allocation across nodes.
  • Distributed Training: Autonomys would benefit from NeuroMesh’s role architecture of trainers, synchronizers and predictors — where trainers perform the core computation; synchronizers facilitate data synchronization and task distribution; and predictors host trained models and offer model prediction services — and their proof-of-contribution model for incentivizing trainer participation and contribution integrity in AI training.
  • GPU Integration: Integrating NeuroMesh’s network of distributed GPUs into Autonomys’ domain layer would significantly enhance Autonomys’ capabilities for large AI model training and inference.
“Autonomys is pioneering the future of decentralized AI, and we’re excited to support that vision with NeuroMesh’s AI power. Together, we’ll fuel the next-generation AI ecosystem, where anyone can contribute to and benefit from advanced AI development.” Cindy Huang, Head of Partnerships at NeuroMesh

“NeuroMesh forms a vital component of the AI3.0 ecosystem Autonomys is building. From model training and hosting, to agent development and deployment, NeuroMesh and Autonomys are aligned on a decentralized, accessible and collaborative future for AI.”
Parth Birla, Head of Partnerships at Autonomys

About NeuroMesh

NeuroMesh is an AI training network protocol that leverages underutilized distributed GPUs for decentralized AI (deAI) development. Founded by former Oxford and DeepMind researchers and ex-Meta and Google alumni with the goal of accelerating AI R&D by democratizing access to large AI model training, NeuroMesh uses a novel computational neuroscience algorithm called a Predictive Coding Network (PCN) for AI training. PCNs enable efficient parallelization, permissionless contribution, asynchronous learning, and low network costs — ideal for deAI development.
